DOCUMENT INFORMATION

Effective date: 16 September 2026 Last updated: 16 September 2026

Sticktime is a community for people interested in FPV flying. These Guidelines explain what may be shared and how members are expected to treat places, people and each other. They apply to spots, posts, comments, images, event listings, external links, profile information, flying sessions, reports and every other kind of user contribution on Sticktime.

These Guidelines form part of the Sticktime Terms of Service.

1. Fly legally and responsibly

  • Follow all aviation, radio, privacy, environmental and local laws that apply to you and your flight.
  • Check current airspace restrictions, temporary restrictions, weather, equipment condition and local rules before every flight.
  • Obtain any permission, registration, qualification, insurance or observer required for your operation.
  • Keep a safe distance from people, animals, vehicles, infrastructure and emergency activity.
  • Never treat a Sticktime listing, rating, comment or event as confirmation that a location is legal, accessible or safe to fly.

Sticktime does not currently provide authoritative airspace or no-fly-zone information. Conditions can change without notice.

2. Respect property, privacy and the environment

  • Do not enter private, restricted, abandoned or hazardous property without the owner's or occupier's permission.
  • Do not encourage trespass, vandalism, theft, interference with security systems or damage to a location.
  • Do not publish precise locations where doing so creates a credible risk to people, protected wildlife, cultural sites, critical infrastructure or property.
  • Do not film or identify people in circumstances where they reasonably expect privacy, and do not share personal information without a lawful reason.
  • Leave locations as you found them. Do not litter, disturb wildlife or damage the environment to create a flight line.

3. Keep contributions useful and authentic

  • Describe spots accurately and update or report information that is no longer correct.
  • Use the correct spot and drone categories where possible.
  • Only announce that you are flying at a spot when you are genuinely there or actively using that location.
  • Do not create fake events, votes, accounts, engagement or misleading safety claims.
  • Do not impersonate another person, pilot, organisation or public authority.
  • Disclose material commercial relationships when recommending a product, service or event.

4. Treat people well

The following are not allowed:

  • harassment, bullying, stalking or targeted abuse;
  • threats, encouragement of violence or glorification of serious harm;
  • hate speech or dehumanising content based on protected characteristics;
  • sharing another person's private information or precise whereabouts without permission;
  • sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content or sexual content involving minors;
  • grooming, exploitation or endangerment of children;
  • content intended to humiliate a person or coordinate harassment against them.

Disagreement about equipment, flying style or a location is fine. Personal attacks are not.

5. Do not post illegal, dangerous or deceptive content

Do not use Sticktime to publish or facilitate:

  • illegal goods, services or activity;
  • instructions whose primary purpose is to cause serious harm or evade lawful safety controls;
  • scams, phishing, malware, spam or deceptive promotions;
  • content that materially misrepresents an emergency, restriction or official safety notice;
  • graphic violence or sexual content outside any clearly permitted and appropriately restricted context;
  • content that violates Google Play policies or applicable law.

6. Share only content you have the right to use

Only upload images, text or other material that you created or are authorised to share. Do not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy, publicity or other rights. When linking to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, comply with that service's terms and the rights of the creator.

7. Spots and sensitive locations

A spot may be removed, hidden or converted into a generic Community listing if it is duplicate, inaccurate, no longer available or no longer maintained by its contributor. A location reported as unsafe, private or legally sensitive may be removed permanently.

Do not add a spot merely because it appears accessible on a map. If publication could expose a dangerous or sensitive location, report it and do not visit it until its status has been checked independently.

8. Events and meeting other users

Event organisers are responsible for permissions, safety planning, participant information and compliance with local law. Sticktime does not supervise events or verify attendees.

Meet in public or appropriately authorised places, tell someone where you are going and use your own judgement. Do not pressure anyone to reveal personal contact information or attend a meeting.

9. Reporting concerns

Use the in-app reporting and blocking controls for a concern about a user or content whenever possible. For an issue you cannot submit in the app, use the contact below. Give enough detail for assessment, but do not submit knowingly false, duplicative or retaliatory reports.

For urgent danger, contact the relevant emergency service or authority first. Sticktime is not an emergency service and does not monitor reports continuously.

We prioritise credible reports of urgent safety risks or illegal content. A report does not guarantee immediate review or automatic removal of the reported content.

Legal notices and concerns that cannot be submitted in the app may be sent to support@sticktime.online.

10. Enforcement

Depending on the context and severity, we may:

  • reduce distribution or add a warning;
  • hide or remove content;
  • remove a spot from public view;
  • restrict features;
  • suspend or terminate an account;
  • preserve relevant evidence;
  • notify affected users or competent authorities where appropriate or required.

We consider severity, context, intent, previous conduct, credible risk and applicable law.

11. Reviews and appeals

If you believe action was taken in error, contact support@sticktime.online and identify the content and decision. We may decline repetitive, abusive or clearly unfounded requests.
