1. About these Terms
These Terms govern access to Sticktime, an FPV community application that allows users to discover and contribute flying spots, share posts and comments, plan events, indicate that they are flying at a spot, save favourites and use related community features (the Service).
The Service is provided by Panagiotis Florous, a sole trader registered in Greece under his personal AFM and operating from Aristeidou 7, 16345 Ilioupoli, Greece (Sticktime, we, us or our). Contact: support@sticktime.online.
By creating an account or accepting these Terms in the app, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy describes personal-data handling, and the Community Guidelines form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Do not use the Service if you are legally prohibited from doing so.
The app asks for an 18+ self-declaration after authentication; it does not verify identity or age.
The Service is available worldwide, except where we restrict availability for legal, safety, operational or sanctions-related reasons. You are responsible for whether using the Service is lawful where you are located. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights in your country continue to apply.
3. Accounts
You may browse limited parts of Sticktime through a guest session. Publishing, voting, saving favourites, announcing a flying session and other features may require a registered account.
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may limit account creation, require verification or refuse misleading, abusive or impersonating profile information.
4. Aviation, location and safety disclaimer
Sticktime is a community information service, not an aviation authority, navigation service, land registry, emergency service or safety certification provider.
Locations and statements on Sticktime are submitted by users and may be wrong, outdated, incomplete, inaccessible, private, hazardous or illegal to fly. A spot appearing in the Service does not mean that:
- public access or landowner permission exists;
- drone flight is permitted;
- the airspace is unrestricted;
- radio use, recording or publication is lawful;
- the location is physically safe;
- conditions remain the same as when the contribution was made.
Before travelling or flying, you must independently check current aviation and local rules, airspace restrictions, temporary restrictions, weather, property access, insurance, qualifications and site conditions. You remain solely responsible for your flight decisions, equipment and conduct.
5. User content
User Content includes spots, coordinates, names, descriptions, images, external video links, posts, comments, votes, event information, profile data and other material submitted through the Service.
You retain ownership of rights you hold in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, communicate and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate and improve the Service. This licence lasts while the content is available through the Service and for a reasonable technical period afterwards, subject to the deletion provisions below and applicable law.
We will obtain separate permission before using your original photographs, videos or other User Content in paid advertising, app-store promotional material or off-platform marketing.
You confirm that:
- you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content;
- the content and our permitted use of it do not violate law or another person's rights;
- location information is not knowingly deceptive or dangerously inaccurate;
- you will not upload personal data about another person without a lawful reason.
You do not grant us ownership of your photographs, posts or other original content.
6. External media and services
Sticktime may display or link to content hosted by YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps and other third parties. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Availability, presentation and continued access are outside our control. You must not use external links to bypass these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
7. Flying sessions
If you select I'm flying here, other users may see an aggregate count of active sessions at the selected spot. This feature does not display your identity, individual session times or live GPS position to other users. A session ends when you stop it or expires after approximately eight hours; backend cleanup and public-count updates run separately.
Do not use this feature to mislead, harass, track or endanger others. Starting a session does not reserve a location or create responsibility for an event.
8. Events and in-person interaction
Users who create events are responsible for permissions, safety, lawful operation, accurate event details and communications with participants. Sticktime is not an organiser, employer, insurer or supervisor of user-created events. Attendance and interaction with other users are at your own judgement and risk, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Community rules and moderation
You must follow the Community Guidelines. We may investigate reports and use human or automated tools to review, restrict, hide or remove content or accounts. We do not promise to pre-screen all User Content or detect every violation.
The current in-app tools accept reports about spots, posts and comments and allow moderator review, dismissal and escalation. User blocking, direct user/profile reporting and a complete in-app enforcement workflow are not currently available. A report does not automatically remove content or suspend an account.
We may take proportionate action to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, address credible safety concerns or preserve the integrity of the Service. Where required, we will provide reasons and an opportunity to contest a decision.
Do not misuse reporting, voting, account or engagement systems.
10. Spot removal and Community listings
When the server accepts a spot owner's removal request, the spot is removed from public view and direct in-app reads of its original images are denied. Backend processing revokes existing media download links and moves recoverable images into private quarantine; failures can delay that processing. The request, original data, reason and recoverable media have a seven-day restoration window. Restoration is available only through authorised Sticktime administrators before the deadline; spot owners do not currently have a self-service restore control.
After that window, scheduled cleanup processes the request in retryable batches:
- a spot identified as unsafe or private is intended to be deleted permanently;
- for other removal reasons, the precise location, spot type, drone suitability, creation date and aggregate votes may remain as an ownerless Community listing;
- the original name, description, attribution, owner media and the owner's spot comments are removed and replaced with generic information; and
- comments, ratings and saved references contributed by other users may remain associated with the Community listing.
Removing the original authorship and media does not guarantee that a location or discussion is anonymous. Precise coordinates, retained text and context can still identify someone. This retention model remains subject to applicable data-protection rights. Users may report retained locations that remain unsafe, private, unlawful or identifying.
11. Deleting posts and accounts
Post owners can delete their feed posts and associated uploaded media. Account deletion is available through Settings and requires recent authentication, with reauthentication if needed. The external deletion page provides email request instructions for users who cannot access the app.
Account cleanup removes authentication access, profile data, legal acceptance, active flying session, uploaded media including quarantine, owned feed posts, spot and feed votes, favourites, notifications and account quota/role records from the live service. The account's own reports are removed; other people's reports retain their content but have the deleted account's structured target-author reference cleared.
Comments in surviving discussions retain their text, while the account identifier and display name are removed and the author is shown as `[deleted]`. Deleting a parent post or permanently deleting a parent spot removes its associated discussion. Other people's independently written content is not automatically rewritten.
During account cleanup, active spots become generic Community listings. Pending unsafe/private spot removals are permanently deleted and other eligible pending spots become Community listings without waiting for the rest of the seven-day restoration window. Cleanup is processed in batches and accepted work can resume through scheduled retries; it is not guaranteed to finish immediately.
Restricted moderation, administrative audit and deletion-security records can still contain identifying information and are retained for up to 12 months. Local scouting pins are cleared on the device initiating account deletion; ordinary device preferences remain. Provider recovery copies, logs, backups, device caches and support correspondence have separate handling as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting the app account does not delete a Google account, externally hosted videos or copies already downloaded by other people.
12. Intellectual-property complaints
If content infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights, contact support@sticktime.online with identification of the protected work, the content, your authority, contact details and a good-faith explanation. We may request further information and may forward an appropriate notice to the user who submitted the content.
13. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to operate the Service with reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maps, embeds, cloud services and other third-party dependencies may fail or change.
If a material change adversely affects users, we will provide notice where required. Continued use after an effective change may constitute acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
14. Our responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
Subject to that rule, we are not responsible for User Content, independent flight decisions, unauthorised property access, user-organised events or losses caused solely by third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account. We may restrict or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement, credible safety risk, fraud, security issue or prolonged service discontinuation.
Where appropriate and legally required, we will give notice, reasons and an appeal route. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including accrued rights and lawful licences for retained Community data.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Greek law, except where mandatory law in your country of residence provides protections that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory protections available in your country of residence.
Before filing a claim, please contact support@sticktime.online so we can try to resolve the issue informally. This does not restrict access to regulators, courts or mandatory dispute-resolution rights.
